The inn
The building stands at the entrance to the village, right in front of the church. It was originally built as the village school, one of the few signs that Codera was once a lively place with enough children to fill a classroom. Today, it serves as a mountain refuge, a restaurant, and the home of the Val Codera Ethnographic Museum, which documents the lives of the valley's stone quarrymen, farmers, and families.
ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
The Codera Ethnographic Museum preserves the memory and identity of an extraordinary Alpine community, recounting the life of the past through working tools, everyday objects, and ancient traditions linked to soapstone and mountain agriculture. A small treasure in the heart of the valley, where every exhibit tells of the deep, authentic, and unbreakable bond between humankind and the mountains.
