A longer, scenic approach that follows the historic Tracciolino railway track above Lake Mezzola before turning into Val Codera. Expect tunnels, ledges, wooded sections, and expansive views over the lake. Bring a headlamp for the tunnels and check seasonal access conditions before setting off.
